AdvantEdge Technology, Inc. is seeking a test engineer for a full-time role based at Wallops Island, VA, supporting Navy EW systems.

The position involves system engineering, test analysis, and technical document support with some travel. Requirements include a technical bachelor’s degree or 10+ years experience without a degree, experience with US Navy EW systems, and the ability to obtain a government clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other technical degree; minimum 4 years' experience; or no degree with 10+ years' technical experience.
• Experience with US Navy Electronic Warfare systems including operating, maintaining, and repairing complex electronic systems for threat detection and jamming.
• Support all aspects of SSDS MK2 combat system and its peripheral system interfaces aboard USN platforms.
• Define and develop rigorous test standards for T&E USN shipboard, land-based, and enterprise ICS products.
• Review, test, validate, and verify SRS/SSS and evaluate test results and trends.
• Develop and execute test procedures for LBET, CSIT, SBDT, and Enterprise Test events.
• Test and evaluate new software releases during product development.
• Provide technical expertise on specific products, OS, and environments.
• Establish and maintain test processes and requirements documents.
• Report and document test results and enter issues into TOR database.
• Configure hardware and operating environments for testing.
• Collaborate with product management and writers to ensure manuals align with software.
• Interface with customers, vendors and departments to resolve test failures.
• Assist junior engineers with test procedures and execution.
• Generate reports and review documents produced by junior engineers.
• Review supplier information for materials and components.
• May work independently on small projects or assist senior engineers.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel.
• Must complete background check and obtain government clearance.
• Must follow company policies and write clear technical monthly reports.
• Must be able to write, speak, and understand English.

• Perform system engineering tasks and test analyses for Navy EW projects.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and documentation supporting test events.
• Analyze test data, identify trends, and propose corrective actions.
• Coordinate with vendors and customers to resolve test issues.
