Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to support the U.S. Navy Aegis Weapon System in Moorestown, NJ. You will focus on cybersecurity requirements development, architecture, MBSE artifacts, and RMF documentation while collaborating with cross‑discipline teams.

This role requires 2+ years of relevant cybersecurity or systems engineering experience, active clearance, and the ability to apply security controls to design and verification across evolving programs.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and a current Secret security clearance are required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 2+ years of cybersecurity or systems engineering experience.
• Experience applying RMF/NIST 800-53 controls to system design and verification.
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux environments and cybersecurity architectures.
• Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, multi-team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, decompose, and maintain cybersecurity requirements and traceability.
• Translate RMF/NIST 800-53 controls into system requirements.
• Develop cybersecurity architecture and MBSE artifacts.
• Evaluate designs for cybersecurity risk and impacts.
• Apply cybersecurity concepts to system architecture and design.
• Create verification approaches and acceptance criteria for controls.
• Support integration, test, and resolution of cybersecurity issues.
• Perform cybersecurity risk assessments and RMF documentation.
• Collaborate across systems, software, network, and cybersecurity teams.
