• You will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of the cybersecurity assessment processes for Navy IT systems.
• You will work across Navy, cross-SYSCOM, PAE MS and Project Management Offices to provide cybersecurity assessment support and guidance throughout the system life-cycle collaborating with all assessment stakeholders on cybersecurity matters.
• You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to include at a minimum PAE MS, OPNAV, NAVIFOR, FCC, NAVAIR, NAVSEA, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP.
• You will will apply theories, principles, practical concepts, processes and systems related to systems engineering in an engineering and operational environment.
• You will analyze and study technical risks, capabilities and limitations of functionality, reliability, failure analysis, quality assurance, maintainability, and affordability of each system, system of systems, and mission thread.
• You will provide technical and non-technical system security assessments to support cybersecurity certifications and risk assessments.
• You will be responsible for the verification of the selection, prioritization, and gradation of critical components considering both technical and mission needs for Navy IT systems.
• You will support the development and implementation of proficiency standards and expectations for Navy Cybersecurity certification workforce.
