Job Description
JSL is seeking a highly motivated Instructional Coordinator to support the Nato Sea Sparrow Program. Responsibilities include planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of manpower, personnel, and training (MP&T) technical products and services to maintain and improve fleet readiness. The role also involves providing Training Support Agent (TSA) services, including:

  1. Organizing and leading Logistics Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM).
  2. Assisting with the development of Manpower Estimate Reports (MER).
  3. Developing, maintaining, reviewing, and updating Job Duty Task Analysis (JDTA), Training Front End Analysis (FEA), and Navy Training System Plan (NTSP).
  4. Developing, maintaining, reviewing, and updating Job Qualifications Requirements (JQR)/Personnel Qualification Standards (PQS), and creating training materials using AIM I, AIM II, and AIM LOM/CPM software. This includes developing Lesson Plans, trainee Guides, Test Plans, PTAG, and KTAG.
  5. Handling Curriculum Development/Maintenance and transitioning from AIM I and AIM to AIM LOM.
  6. Collaborating with the Fleet, Training Commands, technical support, and other stakeholders on document development and revisions.
  7. Developing and maintaining Training Installation Transfer Agreements (TITA) and related documents.
  8. Reviewing training materials, curricula, and multimedia content for quality and consistency.
  9. Participating in meetings and training events.
  10. Familiarity with MER, JDTA, PADDIE-M, and NTSP processes.
  11. Creating reports, charts, and graphs using Microsoft Office Suite.
  12. Coordinating with training managers and reviewing Change Documents and proposals for curriculum updates.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Project, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Basic understanding of Navy Training Systems, Policies, and Procedures.
  • Willingness to learn quickly and work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to respond to evolving requirements and produce positive results.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience developing or delivering Navy training.
  • Knowledge of NTSP, MER, JDTA, PADDIE-M.
  • Experience with AIM and AIM LOM.
  • Navy NEC 9502 and/or Master Training Specialist certification.

Security Clearance

Applicants must have or be able to obtain a US government security clearance. Candidates will undergo a background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a DoD security clearance.
