Job summary

OLH Technical Services, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, seeks a Navy Combat Systems Rated Equipment Specialist in San Diego, CA, to support the Planned Maintenance System for U.S. Navy ships.

The role requires Navy ET/FC/ST/GM with VLS experience and an active Secret clearance, with duties covering PMS administration, documentation, and liaison with in-service engineering agents. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in shipboard repair, knowledge of NAVY PMS, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Experience with shipboard Electronic Systems and PMS.
• Ability to develop and review PMS documentation and TFBRs.
• Familiarity with shipboard maintenance practices and NAVY policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical reviews and respond to PMS Technical Feedback Reports (TFBRs); track issues and interface with technical codes.
• Develop PMS documentation for new ship construction or system configurations using RCM concepts.
• Research technical manuals, blueprints, and ship drawings; conduct ship visits to verify PMS coverage.
• Maintain engineering history for PMS documents, including MIPs and MRCs.
• Coordinate with Acquisition Managers and In-Service Engineering Agents to ensure PMS coverage for modified/new systems.
• Utilize knowledge of tools, equipment, methods for maintenance on listed systems.
• Other personnel with shipboard repair experience may be considered.

OLH Technical Services, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Navy Combat Systems Rated Equipment Specialist with a Secret Clearance to join our Team in San Diego, CA.

Position Overview:

This position will provide support to the Planned Maintenance System Project managing shipboard Electronic Systems for the U.S Navy.

The preferred Navy Rate skill sets are Electronic Technicians (ET), Fire Controlman (FC/FCA/FT), Sonar Technician (STG/STS) or Gunner's Mate with VLS experience. Other rates that may be suitable with the proper shipboard maintenance experience are Interior Communications (IC) or Crypto Technician - Maintenance (CTM).

Typical Fit for duties performed while on Active Duty: 3M Coordinator, Department 3M Assistant, Leading Petty Officer, Work Center Supervisor. Qualified candidates should have a solid grasp on knowledge of NAVY PMS Manual 4790.8 Series, JFFM, RCM Manual MILSTD 3034A, knowledge of tag outs, maintenance packages, HAZMAT, etc.

Position Responsibilities:

• Ability to perform technical reviews and prepare responses to Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) Technical Feedback Reports (TFBR's) to include complete tracking, interfacing with technical codes, In-Service Engineering Agent and shipboard personnel to resolve issues with above listed systems and other related systems/equipment.


• Ability to develop Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) documentation for new ship construction and/or new systems/equipment configuration using the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) concept.


• Ability to research technical manuals, blueprints, ship's drawings, and conducts ships visits to validate Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) coverage for shipboard and shore station equipment.


• Ability to establish, update, and maintain the engineering corporate history of developed Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) documents, to include Maintenance Index Pages (MIPs), and Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs).


• Ability to coordinate with Acquisition Managers and In-Service Engineering Agents (ISEAs) to ensure accuracy and adequacy of Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) coverage for modified or newly installed systems/equipment on board Naval ships and Shore commands.


• Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, methods, and practices of conducting maintenance on at least one of the systems identified above.


• Other personnel with strong shipboard repair experience in the equipment groups listed may also be considered.

Position Requirements:

• Only candidates currently possessing an Active Secret Clearance (or higher) will be considered for this position;


• Must be comfortable learning new automated systems and databases required to perform the duties associated with this position;


• Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment;


• A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent;


• Must have a valid United States Driver’s License;


• A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in shipboard and/or shore side repair;


• Minimum qualification - Must be 3M Work Center Supervisor qualified;


• Must have familiarity with basic technical and administration policies, procedures, and practices.


• Proficient with MS Office Suite programs;


• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
