A defense consulting company is seeking a Logistics / Configuration Management Specialist to support Navy systems and configuration management practices. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of logistics experience focused on Navy configuration management, proficiency in CDMD-OA and DECKPLATE, and a strong ability to pull and manage Bills of Material. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of logistics experience, with at least 5 years focused on configuration management for Navy systems.
• Hands-on experience with CDMD-OA and DECKPLATE.
• Proven ability to pull and manage Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Experience performing configuration audits and managing configuration baselines.

Responsibilities

• Perform configuration management activities in support of Navy systems.
• Utilize Configuration Data Manager – Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) and MBPS’s DECKPLATE for data management and reporting.
• Pull and analyze Bills of Material (BOMs) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct configuration audits to validate system baselines.
• Provide technical expertise in logistics and configuration documentation.
• Support program teams by ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and resolution of configuration issues.
