Aegis Aerospace seeks a NAVWAR Engineer to support the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM. The role blends lab and field testing, modeling and simulation, scenario development, system integration, and data analysis to evaluate GPS, GNSS, and PNT technologies under benign, degraded, denied, and deceptive conditions.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be a U.S. citizen and hold a current interim secret clearance with a pathway to SCI.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical discipline and at least 3 years’ relevant experience.
• Experience in NAVWAR, PNT, GPS/GNSS, RF systems, modeling and simulation, and lab/field testing.
• Ability to translate customer needs into technical requirements and test objectives.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills and ability to work onsite at Kirtland AFB.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute NAVWAR and PNT laboratory, chamber, hardware-in-the-loop, and field-test events.
• Develop test plans, scenarios, and data-collection methods from customer requirements.
• Coordinate test-event requirements including site layouts, equipment, and schedules.
• Develop NAVWAR scenarios to evaluate GPS, GNSS, and PNT systems.
• Analyze test data and generate technical reports, briefings, and procedures.
• Prepare scripts, models, and software utilities to support simulation and data processing.
• Mentor junior analysts and engineers when required.
• Travel up to 10% for field-test activities.
