The Opportunity: In support of the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) contract, you will be part of our team’s efforts to empower the Department of Defense’s navigation warfare (NAVWAR) mission, ensuring positioning, navigation, and timing superiority. Our mission is to provide combatant commanders and joint force commanders with expertise on planning and conducting NAVWAR, including knowledge of NAVWAR Order of Battle and PNT-related successes and threats.

Job Description:
In support of the JNWC contract, you will contribute to NAVWAR efforts by providing expertise in modeling, simulation, RF hardware/software development, signal processing, and system analysis to support navigation warfare and electronic warfare capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Modeling and Simulation SME provides executive-level insight to NAVWAR engineering support.
  2. Research and develop multi-function small form factor payloads for NAVWAR missions.
  3. Develop and analyze models of novel algorithms for electronic sensing effects.
  4. Utilize EW signal processing algorithms for threat detection and countermeasures.
  5. Support GPS system hardening to prevent NAVWAR effects.
  6. Develop RF hardware and software solutions for integrating EW, communications, and radar into payloads.
  7. Investigate heterogeneous sensing concepts across platforms.
  8. Design and test RF hardware and software for software defined radios.
  9. Reverse engineer existing NAVWAR signal processing solutions.
  10. Define and allocate system requirements to ensure architecture compliance.
  11. Support development of client requirements for RF solutions.
  12. Perform Hardware-in-the-Loop testing on systems affected by PNT/GPS denial or deception.
  13. Review vendor hardware/software products and develop algorithms for simulation.
  14. Research state-of-the-art signal processing algorithms.
  15. Work with customers to integrate solutions into various applications.
  16. Debug, test, and validate capabilities using unit tests and scenario reports.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • 3 to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior leadership or management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • Current interim secret clearance with a pathway to SCI.
Desired:
  • Professional Engineer License (PE).
  • Master’s degree.

Pay Range: $54,600 - $112,000
