Computer User Support Specialist

Location: Mechanicsburg, PA, Kittery, ME, or Remote

Employment Type: Full Time

Description

The Computer User Support Specialist will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk support for systems supporting the logistics domain. Responsibilities include responding to trouble tickets, offering recommendations, troubleshooting issues, and supporting users to resolve problems or escalate tickets to technical experts.

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in an IT support environment
  • Experience supporting Department of Navy logistics and supply chain systems or similar legacy portfolios (preferred)
  • Active secret security clearance
  • Ability to troubleshoot user issues using guides and FAQs
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Experience with trouble ticketing systems
  • Ability to validate configurations and user setups
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication with users of varying IT knowledge
  • Ability to manage multiple tickets and prioritize tasks
  • Experience with JIRA or similar tools
  • Background in agile methodologies
  • Must obtain or have Cyber Security Workforce Certification, IAT-II
