Job summary

Providence Swedish in Seattle, WA, is seeking a registered nurse to administer a cancer care navigational program from detection to diagnosis and through treatment planning.

The role requires a BSN, an active Washington RN license, BLS, and at least 3 years in Oncology or Breast Care. Work on-site at Swedish First Hill with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Administer a navigational program to support and expedite diagnostic care from discovery through diagnosis.
• Collaborate with providers to provide support, education, referrals, coordination of care during diagnosis and treatment planning for patients with cancer or suspicion of cancer.
• Assist patients with cancer or suspected cancer, ensuring smooth care transitions through the diagnostic and treatment planning stages.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and Nursing degree (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing required. Applicants without a BSN degree must actively pursue and attain a BSN within five years of hire. Continued employment by Swedish beyond five years is contingent upon attaining the BSN degree. Or Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
