Job summary

Synectic Solutions, Inc. (SSI) is seeking a Logistics Engineer, Journeyman to support the NSG PSMI Department in acquisition and in‑service logistics for weapon systems and support equipment.

The role works independently and provides logistics and engineering support to sub‑contractors, program management, and government customers. Responsibilities include reviewing engineering data, updating schematics, coordinating tests, and preparing reports.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related Science discipline.
• 3–10 years of experience in engineering or logistics.
• Ability to obtain CAC and meet DoD security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review engineering data and update schematics, drawings, specs, and parts lists.
• Set up tests, record results, analyze data, and prepare reports.
• Support R&D projects, prototype development, testing, and redesigns.
• Design and coordinate test setups; evaluate concepts for performance and cost.
• Assist with logistics planning; review requirements, contracts, and updates; maintain data.
• Review ECPs/ECOs/NORs/SCNs and advise disposition per policy.
• Participate in SE Technical Reviews and audits; document findings.
