Job summary

PMAT, Inc. is seeking a motivated Test Engineer to plan, execute, and report on experimental, developmental, and operational testing of advanced Navy capabilities across HWIL, shipboard, and virtual environments.

You will translate test objectives and results for engineers, program leadership, and executives, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure issues and risks are captured. A DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, DevOps practices, and/or CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience planning, execution, direction, documentation, and reporting for experimental, developmental, or operational testing.
• Experience assisting with test documentation, test reports, briefings, after-action materials, and other deliverables.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional technical and operational teams for complex test events.
• Demonstrated leadership within team-of-teams environments across engineering, development, operations, and program management.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical, operational, and executive audiences.
• Ability to coordinate tasks, communicate status, and support multiple stakeholders in a dynamic program.

Responsibilities

• Support test planning, coordination, execution, and reporting for tests across HWIL, operational, and virtual environments.
• Assist in developing test objectives, procedures, schedules, data plans, and reporting documentation.
• Coordinate with technical teams, operational stakeholders, and leadership during test execution.
• Document test results, observations, anomalies, and lessons learned for reports and briefs.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to support integrated testing of emerging capabilities.
• Support testing activities involving cloud platforms, containerization, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Assist with issue tracking, risk documentation, and follow-up actions to drive continuous improvement.
