Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises is seeking a Technical Manual Developer in Virginia Beach, VA. The role focuses on producing and maintaining technical manuals, ETMs, and IETMs with emphasis on S1000D formatting and validation processes.

Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years of experience, an associate degree, and proficiency with XML tagging, Arbortext Epic Editor, Interleaf 7/Quicksilver, and MS Office. A US Secret clearance is required with travel under 10%.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years of experience and an Associates Degree.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Project and Excel).
• Experience S1000D International Specifications for updating and/or developing IETMs.
• Experience with XML tagging guidelines, Arbortext Epic Editor Software.
• Experience with Interleaf Software Version 7/Quicksilver for updating TMs/ETMs.
• Active Secret Security clearance and ability to maintain clearance.
• Travel readiness with <10% travel and access to secure facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain technical manuals, ETMs and IETMs for accuracy.
• Develop and update IETMS using S1000D format.
• Participate in Technical Manual Validation/Verification processes.
