Job summary

THOR Solutions, LLC seeks a Robotics Autonomous Systems (RAS) Analyst to support the US Navy MIREM at SMWDC in San Diego, CA. Role bridges legacy unmanned systems into modern COAs and explores new systems to close warfighting gaps.

Responsibilities include developing tactical concepts, assisting with exercise data collection, and communicating results to naval commands. Travel up to 20% as needed; DoD Secret clearance is required or pursued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ten years of U.S. Navy experience related to mine countermeasures, autonomous systems, and warfare tasks.
• Three years of experience planning exercise activities.
• Experience briefing and debriefing submarine crews on exercise plans and results.
• Experience in Navy data collection, mission data extraction, and post mission analysis.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and correspondence.
• Experience using analytical software tools such as MINEnet Tactical, Matlab, SAS, and Excel.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support new concept tactical development and emerging system analysis.
• Provide insight during ad hoc workshops and respond to statistical queries of systems performance.
• Support and design test and data collection plans for exercises.
• Develop exercise messages and reports.
• Observe exercises aboard units to coordinate observation and data collection.
• Support reconstruction, analysis, and reporting of exercise objectives.
• Analyze exercise results per the Execution Plan.
• Communicate results in oral and written formats to naval commands and program offices.
• Support doctrine / TTP validation and product modifications.
