Qualifications

• Completion of a rigorous technical degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or a closely related field with strong calculus and physics background.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction in reactor and propulsion plant design, reactor physics, materials development, and instrumentation and control; review designs and analyses from laboratories and shipyards; coordinate with fleet units to ensure safe and reliable nuclear plant operation.
• Work with senior engineers and officers in an analytical, oversight role and contribute to long-term engineering projects and fleet support.
