Job summary

ULU HI-TECH, INC. in Pearl Harbor, HI seeks a Level I Network Engineer to support Navy networks aboard ships and shore facilities. The role is hybrid remote with periodic on-site duties, including onboard US Navy ships.

Responsibilities include break/fix IT support, issue analysis in enterprise LAN shipboard environments, and collaboration with partners to design solutions. Travel up to ~25% may be required, with afloat duties possible.

Qualifications

• Associates in CE, CS, TM, IRM, or IT; Bachelor’s or higher in same, MSCE or courses toward this Cert.
• Windows and Linux system administrator skills.
• Knowledge on network routing & switching systems (e.g. switches, routers).
• Familiarity with CANES, ADNS, CENTRIXS, ISNS/ORT, ONE-NET, SCI-Networks, SUB-LAN, VIXS, WRBS, CND and SCIP-IWF is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide break/fix IT support in a fast-paced environment.
• Analyze issues in Enterprise LAN Shipboard Environment for resolution.
• Provide root cause analysis and recommend permanent configuration changes when necessary.
• Work with external partners to troubleshoot intra-system issues and assist with design solutions.
• Provide server break-fix and remote support for server, network, desktop, and peripherals.
• Interface with US Navy Customers regarding afloat networks and components.
• Attend technical meetings, report progress, and provide briefings and presentations.
• Participate in integrated product teams and engineering/design reviews.
