Job summary
A technology and engineering services firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Madison, WI. The successful candidate will develop power/control systems for maritime applications, support Navy contracts, and mentor junior engineers. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 2 years of experience are required. This position includes opportunities for travel and requires the ability to obtain a Secret clearance post-employment.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Progressive experience in marine fields: electric propulsion, machinery control, or power systems.
Ability to execute a ship check at a shipyard or Naval Base.
Responsibilities
Develop power/control system drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Interface with vendors and customers to ensure system meets specifications.
Travel onboard naval ships to support installation or troubleshooting.
