Job summary
A defense and technological services firm is looking for an enthusiastic Electrical Engineer to support high-profile naval projects. Located in Phoenix, you will develop control systems, mentor junior engineers, and ensure effective design evaluations. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in marine engineering. Candidates must obtain a secret clearance and are expected to travel occasionally. Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance post-employment.
Progressive experience in marine fields: electric propulsion systems or communications systems.
Ability to execute a ship check at a shipyard or Naval Base.
Experience writing requirements and drafting Statement of Work (SOW).
Responsibilities
Develop power/control system hardware and software drawings and specifications.
Evaluate designs of shipboard machinery control and monitoring systems.
Travel onboard naval ships and support the installation or troubleshooting of Power Systems.
