Job summary

MANTECH International Corporation seeks a Naval Logistician to join the Chesapeake, VA team on-site. The role focuses on supporting Navy small boats with parts research, validation, and acquisition, while ensuring accurate data entry into databases.

Applicants must have a DoD logistics background (4+ years), experience with ICAPS, and the ability to work across large teams to drive logistics initiatives. A Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of logistics experience within a DoD environment.
• Experience using the Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS).
• Experience working across large teams to drive a logistics agenda and manage complex data flows.

Responsibilities

• Performing technically accurate parts research using drawings, documents, manuals, and vendors to provision small boats and equipment.
• Executing parts research and part number cross-referencing across the federal stock system.
• Managing parts acquisition and interfacing with customer personnel, vendors, and military personnel.
• Collecting, identifying, and annotating research data for entry into specialized databases.
• Recommending and implementing process improvements for logistics and procurement workflows.
