GreenXT is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support surface ships in the Philadelphia area. Responsibilities include in-service engineering for AC/R and auxiliary systems, testing, and coordination for MACHALTs/SCDs, with focus on HM&E systems and life-cycle support.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance and 3 years’ Navy Ship Auxiliary experience, including distributed machinery and control systems, with the ability to work in shipboard environments and confined spaces.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance.
• 3 years of Navy Ship Auxiliary systems experience (AC/R, HES-C, Auxiliary Fuel and Lube Oil systems, Auxiliary Pumps, Smart Valves, Auxiliary Machinery, and testing).
• 3 years of experience with Navy Ship Auxiliary systems including distributed machinery.
• Knowledge of NSWCPD SEP, MACHALTs, engineering change proposals, and ship change documents (SCDs).
• Ability to lift, carry and transport heavy equipment (not less than 30 lbs).
• Ability to work on ladders, aboard ships, in shipyards, and in confined spaces.

Mansioni

• Provide in-service engineering for AC/R, Auxiliary, Combat Support, Life Support and Ventilation, and/or Compressed Air Systems.
• Provide engineering/technical support, test procedure development, testing, and onsite coordination for MACHALTs, ECPs, and SCDs.
• Review preliminary and detailed designs; identify discrepancies between installation drawings and vessel configuration; identify interferences.
• Provide Ship system configuration, testing, training, support, troubleshooting for HM&E systems.
• Conduct pre- and post-installation ship checks to verify installation drawings.
• Participate in NSWCPD SEP activities; support SEP tools and processes.
