Responsibilities

• Support Environmental Qualification Testing for HM&E components.
• Prepare system specifications and develop design drawings.
• Read and troubleshoot HM&E systems.
• Perform calculations including fluid resistance and stress analysis.
• Revise and prepare HM&E logistics documentation.

Skills

Understanding of US Navy Hull, Mechanical and Electrical Systems (HM&E)

Experience with Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT)

Troubleshooting HM&E systems

Development of 2D drawings and 3D models

Stress analysis of mechanical components

Education

BS degree in Marine, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering

US Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Credential
