Job summary

ProSync is seeking a Technical Writer to translate complex maritime concepts into clear documentation and training materials. You will collaborate with stakeholders, edit meticulously, and develop guidance for maritime operations.

The role offers a salary range of $80-110k, depending on degree and experience, with opportunities in defense contracting and government programs. A Top Secret or higher clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or related field is required.
• Experience translating complex technical concepts into clear docs and training materials.
• Background in Navy/Joint instructional materials and government/defense documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate and standardize content from multiple sources into cohesive modular training packages.
• Format instructional materials into Navy/Joint lesson plans, trainee guides, and instructor presentations.
• Produce and maintain manuals, technical documents, training guides, and policy documents.
• Edit for accuracy, readability, and compliance with style guides.
• Evaluate existing communications and recommend improvements for clarity and effectiveness.
• Ensure technical accuracy and completeness of all deliverables.
