Job summary

Morgan Business Consulting in the Washington, D.C. area seeks a Mid-Level Data Scientist to support a U.S. Navy program office with data analytics.

You will apply data mining, NLP, and machine learning to large datasets, visualize findings, and prepare briefing materials. You will coordinate data calls with stakeholders and help prepare presentations for leadership. Travel domestically and internationally may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (US-accredited).
• Experience providing data analytics support to Navy program offices preferred.
• Ability to develop briefing materials per Navy guidelines.
• Experience with data mining, data modeling, NLP, and ML a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytics techniques to transform raw data into actionable information.
• Apply data mining, data modeling, NLP, and ML on large structured and unstructured datasets.
• Visualize, interpret, and report data findings in dynamic reports.
• Plan internal and external engagements including meetings and events.
• Draft briefing materials and documents per Navy guidelines.
• Coordinate data calls with internal and external stakeholders for leadership.
