Job summary

Bristol Infrastructure Design Services, LLC is seeking a Cost Engineer to support NAVFAC Hampton Roads, VA. The role involves cost engineering for planning, design, construction, and maintenance of complex military facilities, including MILCON and major renovations.

Ideal candidates will hold an ABET/NAAB-accredited degree in engineering or architecture and possess 5+ years in cost engineering with relevant DoD experience, plus proficiency in Autodesk and MS Office.

Qualifications

• ABET/NAAB-accredited degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or Architecture with hands-on design experience.
• Five+ years of experience with Architectural, Engineering, or Construction firms on commercial/industrial facilities contracts; at least five projects >$10M.
• Certification as CCP/CCE is desirable (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide independent cost engineering support for Navy facilities planning, design, construction and maintenance, including MILCON and major projects.
• Participate in conferences with project stakeholders and coordinate with engineering disciplines to ensure system integration and cost effectiveness.
