Job summary

A leading defense contractor is looking for a Vice President for West Coast Operations to oversee the installation status of afloat units and manage program schedules. Candidates must have in-depth knowledge of US Navy communications protocols and extensive ship experience. A high school diploma and Navy ET/IT certification are highly desired. Qualifications

• Must have Navy Surface ship experience.
• Experience in installation, operation, maintenance and repair of ship-based C4I systems required.
• Experience reviewing Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track all phases of installation status on afloat units.
• Analyze cost, schedule, and performance data.
• Develop and monitor program schedules and Gantt charts.

Skills

In-depth knowledge of US Navy communications protocols

C4I system set-up and troubleshooting procedures

Surface ship experience

Installation of C4I equipment

Six years' experience in ship-based C4I systems

Education

High School Diploma

US Navy ET / IT certification
