Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks or comparable solid modeling design software preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduits requirements analysis and develops verification experiments with a project team.
• Performs naval requirements analysis to develop concepts for high speed marine vessels.
• Prepared calculations including weight, powering and range estimates.
• Develops hull forms/lines, general arrangements and basic hull structural definition for concept designs.
• Prepares technical reports and reviews technical data as directed.
• Performs naval architectural calculations related to floodable length, hydrostatics, stability or tonnage per standards.
