Eastern Shipbuilding Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to perform design and drafting for new shipbuilding and repair projects.
You will develop and review structural analyses, scantling, and outfitting drawings, using FORAN/Ship Constructor or equivalent tools, while ensuring compliance with class society rules. The role requires 10–15 years in ship design, proficiency with AutoCAD and Rhino, and the ability to mentor junior staff.

This position will be reported to the Structure Design Group Manager.
The following knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience are preferred but not required:
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship or a Permanent Resident Card is required.
This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows. Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace Work surface is stable (flat) Some yard visits may render a high noise level environment and may require climbing ladders and entering confined spaces.
