Position: HB Expeditor - Band 1U

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all food orders are correctly prepared, completed promptly, and delivered at proper serving temperatures.
2. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of restaurant menus and service standards.
3. Communicate clearly with kitchen and dining staff regarding food orders.
4. Provide prompt and proper service to guests according to standards.
5. Assist in delivering food from kitchen to dining area to expedite service when needed.
6. May assume roles of host/hostess, captain, or waithelp as required.
7. Follow sequence of service standards and SOPs consistently.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Other Duties:

• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Assist in set-up and breakdown of dining areas.
• Recommend resort restaurants and facilities to guests.

Working Conditions:

• Work in kitchen and restaurant environments.
• Deal with kitchen noise and ongoing communication with staff during service hours.

Work Hours:

• Work shifts and days as determined by the restaurant manager.
• May work over 40 hours per week when necessary.

Equipment Use:

• Proficient in using the resort’s POS system.
• Operate food warmers.

Mental and Physical Demands:

• Prioritize and organize workload effectively.
• Manage stressful situations calmly.
• Stand, walk, bend, and reach during most of the shift.
• Carry trays weighing up to 25 lbs.

Communication Demands:

• Communicate verbally with staff and management.
• Provide proof of Department of Health TB test clearance.
• Read and write to perform job duties.
• Multitask efficiently.
