Job summary

The Association of Village Council Presidents is seeking a Natural Resources Program Manager to lead and manage comprehensive aspects of the program including biology, advocacy, and community engagement.

This position requires expertise in grant management, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the needs of the tribes in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta region. Bilingual candidates are preferred.

The role includes supervising staff, managing budgets, and ensuring the effective execution of program services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years experience as a Program Manager.
• Three years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and manage all components of the Natural Resources Program.
• Develop and manage program budgets and financial accountability.
• Organize regional meetings and conferences related to Natural Resources.

Skills

Strong analytical skills

Knowledge of multiple grant management

Bilingual in Yup’ik/English

Education

Bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences or related field
