Job summary

A national law firm seeks a Natural Resources Partner or Counsel in Portland to join their specialized practice group. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in environmental law, with a focus on litigation, alongside a portable book of business and Bar membership in Oregon and/or Washington. You will handle engaging cases related to natural resources law while collaborating closely with a supportive team. This position offers a hybrid work model after an initial training period and emphasizes professional development.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of environmental and natural resources litigation experience.
• Must have Oregon and/or Washington State Bar membership.
• A portable book of business is required.

Responsibilities

Your New Role

With a portable book of business and experience in natural resources litigation, you could be the next Natural Resources Partner or Counsel to join the specialized practice group of this best-in-class national firm in their Seattle or Portland office. In this role, you’ll take on engaging natural resources litigation cases, with matters involving water, environmental, solar, and data-center related law. You’ll need an in-depth understanding of the administrative, regulatory, and transactional elements of natural resources law.

The firm is steadily expanding this practice group, making this a wonderful opportunity to establish your practice in a highly specialized area of law. The team is known to be supportive and welcoming, and the firm prioritizes the professional development and long-term success of their attorneys. After an in-office training period, you’ll have a hybrid schedule.
