Job summary

National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions) partners with the Bureau of Land Management to place experienced professionals (55+) in the Experienced Services Program (ESP) across the United States. The enrollee provides technical advice and program support in natural resource planning, monitoring, and compliance.

The role involves investigations, project documentation, data quality, and coordination of enforcement reporting, with leadership advisory duties and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Must be 55+
• HS/GED Degree with 20 years of experience in Agronomy and surface use multi-resource impact analysis for development of authorized activities.
• Experience doing impact analysis of surface use and reclamation of disturbed area from permitted and authorized activities.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical expertise and support for natural resource management by assisting with planning, monitoring, environmental compliance, and implementation of resource improvement projects.
• Conducts investigations, prepares project documentation, supports interdisciplinary reviews, maintains and ensures the quality of natural resource data, and coordinates compliance and enforcement reporting.
• Advises leadership on natural resource issues, provides training and user support, collaborates with stakeholders and conservation groups, and serves as a primary point of contact for local and regional natural resource partners.

NEW Solutions connects experienced workers (ages 55+) with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). These experienced professionals provide administrative, scientific, technical, and other professional skills that support the Bureau of Land Management through the Experienced Services Program (ESP).

The enrollee will provide technical advice and program support:
