Job summary

TC Energy's US Gas Marketing team seeks a Natural Gas Scheduler to help manage nominations, confirmations, and scheduling across interstate and intrastate pipelines in Houston. This role is ideal for someone early in their scheduling career looking to learn the commercial side of gas markets, transportation, storage optimization, and trading support.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years of related experience, with familiarity in nominations, storage, balancing, and EBB/Endur

• Understanding of pipeline nominations, confirmations, storage, and balancing activities.
• Experience working with EBB systems and energy trading platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily nominations, confirmations, and scheduling transactions on natural gas pipelines.
• Monitor pipeline capacity, constraints, maintenance notices, and operational changes.
• Track physical gas movements, storage activity, and imbalance positions.
• Coordinate with pipeline operators, customers, traders, accounting, and operations teams.
• Support transportation contract administration and asset utilization.
• Ensure internal systems accurately reflect physical gas activity.
• Assist with month-end balancing and reconciliation activities.
• Help identify operational risks and scheduling opportunities.

Our US Gas Marketing team is looking for a Natural Gas Scheduler to support the daily movement of natural gas across multiple interstate and intrastate pipeline systems. This role is a great opportunity for someone early in their scheduling career who wants to learn the commercial side of gas markets, transportation, storage optimization, and trading support.

What You'll Do

• Execute daily nominations, confirmations, and scheduling transactions on natural gas pipelines.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience working with EBB systems and energy trading platforms preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Natural gas scheduling exposure.
• Knowledge of North American pipeline operations and transportation contracts.
• Experience with ETRM systems (e.g., Endur).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
