Position Type: Direct Hire/ Permanent Full Time

Location: New Roads, LA (Must reside within a 30-mile radius)

Additional Site: Ventress, LA

Willingness to work overtime, weekends, shifts, on-call rotations, standby duty, and overnight travel as required.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Natural Gas Measurement Technician to join our team. This hands‑on role involves both troubleshooting and maintenance of gas measurement systems, with oversight responsibilities for other technicians. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in gas measurement and will be comfortable being on‑call 24/7, including weekends and evenings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary support for 24-hour on-call troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Perform installation, upgrades, and repairs on natural gas measurement equipment.
• Download and upload programs using company laptops and coordinate with technical staff.
• Provide oversight and guidance to multiple measurement technicians.
• Maintain and service approximately 15 sites within a 60‑mile radius.
• Calibrate meters, including sites with multiple meter runs.
• Plan monthly work for each meter site using Maximo system.
• Travel to meter sites for scheduled maintenance or emergency repairs.
• Work with 24‑volt systems and turbine meters, including transmitters.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 4–5 years of experience in natural gas measurement (water measurement experience not sufficient).
• Proficient with turbine meters, transmitters, and gas pressure systems.
• Strong computer skills for program downloads and coordination with tech staff.
• Ability to work independently and supervise other technicians.
• Willingness to be on call and respond to emergencies.

Work Schedule:

• Must be available for on-call support 24/7 including weekends and evenings.
• Flexibility to stay at sites for extended periods or visit multiple sites per day.
