Primoris Distribution Services, Inc is seeking an experienced Natural Gas Foreman to lead gas distribution construction and maintenance projects in Fort Pierce, FL. You will supervise crews, read blueprints, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery while upholding safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years in natural gas distribution with supervisory experience, CDL preferred, and the ability to operate heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or trade cert preferred.
• 5+ years in natural gas distribution construction and maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Thorough understanding of natural gas pipeline systems, materials, and construction techniques.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, PHMSA safety regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of crews for natural gas pipeline installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Ensure work complies with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (DOT, OSHA).
• Conduct daily safety briefings, identify hazards, and implement safety measures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to plan and execute projects.
• Monitor project progress, track resources, and manage budget and timelines.
• Operate and maintain heavy equipment used in natural gas construction.
• Perform quality control inspections to meet specs and standards.
• Train and mentor crew members and foster productivity.
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Complete daily reports, time sheets, and documentation on time.
• Respond to emergency calls and participate in after-hours on-call rotation.

Job Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of crews involved in natural gas pipeline installation, repair, and maintenance.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or trade certification in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in natural gas distribution construction and maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Thorough understanding of natural gas pipeline systems, materials, and construction techniques.
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations (OSHA, DOT, PHMSA) and best practices.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate a crew.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, and trenchers.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and background check.
