Job summary

Steuben Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a NATP Program Instructor (RN) to join our Bath, NY team. The instructor will work with the Program Coordinator to present curriculum, teach lectures and labs, and coordinate clinical training for course participants.

The role also includes supervising students on units during clinical experiences and ensuring high-quality clinical education in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with at least two (2) years of nursing experience, including a minimum of one (1) year in a long-term care setting.
• Must have experience teaching adults, supervising nurse aides, or have completed a course in adult education.
• Strong communication, leadership, and training skills preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical education environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach lecture and lab content in the curriculum in collaboration with the Program Coordinator.
• Coordinate clinical training and supervision of course participants.
• Supervise students on clinical units during their clinical experience.
