Job summary

Steuben Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Bath, NY is seeking an NATP Program Instructor (RN) to partner with the Program Coordinator in delivering curriculum, teaching lecture and lab content, and coordinating clinical training.

The instructor will supervise students during clinical experiences, require an RN with at least two years of nursing experience (including one year in long-term care), and prefer experience teaching adults and supervising nurse aides.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with at least two years of nursing experience, including one year in long-term care.
• Experience teaching adults, supervising nurse aides, or have completed a course in adult education.
• Strong communication, leadership, and training skills preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical education environment.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This person works collaboratively to teach lecture and lab contentand to coordinate clinical training and supervision of the course participants. This person will also be responsible to supervise the students on the units during their clinical experience.

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Must have experience teaching adults, supervising nurse aides, or have completed a course in adult education
