Glens Falls Center is hiring a CNA Program Instructor (RN) in Glens Falls, NY.

POSITION SUMMARY:

TheProgram Instructor willwork with the Program Coordinator to deliver the curriculum. This person works collaboratively to teach lecture and lab contentand to coordinate clinical training and supervision of the course participants. This person will also be responsible to supervise the students on the units during their clinical experience.

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Nurse with at least two (2) years of nursing experience, including a minimum of one (1) year in a long-term care setting
• Must have experience teaching adults, supervising nurse aides, or have completed a course in adult education
• Strong communication, leadership, and training skills preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical education environment

Up to $50,000 in federal nursing incentives:

Eligible RNs and LPNs at this facility may qualify for up to $40,000 in student loan repayment plus a $10,000 stipend through CMS’s Nurses for Nursing Homes program with a three-year service commitment. Subject to program eligibility, approval, and available funding.
