Job summary

Steuben Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Bath, NY is seeking an NATP Program Instructor (RN) to co-design and deliver curriculum, lead lectures and lab sessions, and coordinate clinical training with the Program Coordinator.

The instructor will supervise students on units during clinical experiences, evaluate progress, and foster a collaborative clinical education environment while upholding patient safety and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with at least two years of nursing experience, including a minimum of one year in a long-term care setting
• Must have experience teaching adults, supervising nurse aides, or have completed a course in adult education
• Strong communication, leadership, and training skills preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical education environment

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Program Instructor will work with the Program Coordinator on the presentation of the curriculum. This person works collaboratively to teach lecture and lab content and to coordinate clinical training and supervision of the course participants. This person will also be responsible to supervise the students on the units during their clinical experience.

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
