Job summary

Openkrill is seeking native Japanese speakers from the Kansai region to collect and review AI speech data featuring authentic Kansai dialect. You will record short Kansai-ben conversations on your smartphone and review audio to ensure dialect accuracy and quality.

The role is 100% remote and project-based, with short recording tasks. Compensation is $40 per valid hour, paid based on meeting project requirements. Independent contractor status via CrowdGen.

• Help identify authentic Kansai dialect and distinguish it from Standard Japanese
• Check recordings for clarity and quality

Who we're looking for

• Native Japanese speakers from the Kansai region of Japan
• Comfortable speaking in a natural Kansai dialect
• Good listening and attention-to-detail skills
• Able to follow simple recording and project guidelines
• Experience with audio or language projects is a plus, but not required
