University of Utah Health seeks a Program Specialist to design and implement programs advancing Native health education and Tribal engagement. You will collaborate across teams to align educational pathways with community priorities and institutional goals.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, program development, and partnership building with Tribal Nations, with opportunities to influence learner pathways from K–12 through professional practice. Exempt, on-campus position in Salt Lake City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher required; 6+ years related work experience for bachelor’s track.
• Master’s or higher; 4+ years related work experience for master’s track.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve strategic plans for Native health education, Tribal engagement, pathway initiatives, outreach programs, and culturally responsive educational programming.
• Establish program goals, timelines, success measures, and resource priorities.
• Identify leadership opportunities for program growth, partnerships, and funding priorities.
• Ensure Indigenous knowledge and Tribal sovereignty guide initiatives and community priorities.
• Lead pathway mapping across the learner continuum for outreach, recruitment, admissions, and learner support.
• Develop and oversee pathway programs supporting K–12, pre-medical, medical students, trainees, and Native‑serving communities.
