Job summary

Sevan Multi-Site Solutions, Inc. is seeking experienced Traveling Superintendents to lead field operations on commercial construction projects across the United States.

This role oversees jobsite safety, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and project execution from groundbreaking through closeout. Projects include retail, restaurant (QSR), grocery, and fuel/convenience store builds, with nationwide travel and multi-shift work as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of construction experience, including 3+ years as a Superintendent.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all onsite construction activities and field operations.
• Direct subcontractors, vendors, and field crews to maintain productivity and progress.
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet key milestones.
• Develop and manage short-term look-ahead schedules aligned with the master project schedule.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and labor to maintain workflow.
• Identify potential issues early and implement solutions to avoid delays.
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance.
• Conduct daily safety meetings, site inspections, and job hazard analysis.
• Ensure proper PPE use and maintain a strong safety culture onsite.
• Ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Perform regular jobsite walkthroughs and inspections.
• Coordinate required inspections, testing, and quality control procedures.
• Manage subcontractor performance, scope execution, and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate trades to prevent conflicts and maintain project flow.
• Address field issues and elevate discrepancies when necessary.
• Maintain daily reports including manpower, progress, weather, and safety updates.
• Communicate field updates and issues to the Project Manager.
• Assist with RFIs, change orders, and field directives as needed.
• Manage punch list completion and final inspections.
• Support delivery of as-builts, O&M manuals, and final documentation.
