Job summary

Align is seeking a Data Center Cabling Superintendent to lead large-scale low‑voltage cabling installations for AI and hyperscale data centers across the U.S. You will oversee planning, standards, and field execution to ensure safety, quality, and on‑time delivery.

You’ll manage field teams of 50–100 technicians and contractors, coordinate with vendors, and travel nationwide (approximately 75% of the time) to project sites, delivering core cabling solutions and ensuring compliance with industry

Qualifications

• 3+ years in structured cabling or fiber in large data centers.
• Experience leading field cabling crews.
• Ability to read cabling design drawings and specs.
• Strong Excel data vetting, port mapping, and tracking.
• Willing to travel 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Review and oversee installation of cabling in data center white space.
• Set and maintain cabling standards for multiple projects.
• Build and manage cabling tracking sheets.
• Supervise subcontractors and internal crews to stay on schedule.
• Perform on-site quality checks of terminations and labeling.
• Monitor progress and communicate changes to leadership and clients.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing.
• Enforce safety rules and lead toolbox talks.
• Report daily field progress and issues impacting schedule.
