Zusammenfassung

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Training Specialist in Madison Heights, MI. This role involves traveling to communities nationwide to train maintenance technicians in make-readies, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, among other skills.

You will mentor new hires through onboarding, teach shop organization, and ensure preventative maintenance standards are met, while supporting on-site teams and projects across multiple states.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of hands-on multifamily maintenance experience.
• CPO and EPA 608 certifications (2+ years hands-on experience with each).
• Deep knowledge of drywall/painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, water heaters, and HVAC/boiler systems.
• Ability to explain repairs clearly to trainees, from beginners to professionals.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel up to 75%.

Aufgaben

• Travel to Monarch communities nationwide (up to 75%) to train, mentor, and support maintenance technicians during onboarding and beyond.
• Deliver hands-on, real-world training in make-readies, appliance repair, plumbing, drywall/paint, HVAC, pool operations, and basic electrical.
• Coach new hires through onboarding and set them up to hit the ground running.
• Teach shop organization, tool control, curb appeal standards, and preventative maintenance best practices.
• Assist with work orders, unit turns, and special projects at properties needing extra help.
• Train teams on emergency maintenance, snow removal, and resident lockout procedures.
• Assess training effectiveness, report outcomes, and identify next lessons needed.
• Stay current with Gracehill courses, bootcamps, and certification trainings.
