Job summary
EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering quality patient care and promoting safety.
The role involves greeting and rooming patients, taking history and vital signs, preparing for exams, assisting with procedures, maintaining sterile prep and administering injections.

Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent or applicable coursework to be applied to obtain WA State Medical Assistant Certification.
- Current WA State Medical Assistant Certification.
- Current national certification through the AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT or AMCA.
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.
- Proficient with medical terminology.
Responsibilities
- Greets and rooms patients per standard.
- Takes patients history and vital signs.
- Prepares patients for exam.
- Assists provider with exam/surgical procedures and diagnostic testing.
- Maintains sterile environment for procedures, following WA State transmission precautions.
- Administers injections per provider orders.
