Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent with coursework toward WA MA certification.
• Current WA State Medical Assistant Certification.
• Current national MA certification from AAMA/AMT/NHA/NCCT/AMCA.
• BLS certification required by date of hire.
• Proficient with medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greets and rooms patients per standard.
• Takes patients history and vital signs.
• Prepares patients for exam.
• Assists provider with exam/surgical procedures and diagnostic testing.
• Maintains sterile environment per Washington transmission precautions.
• Administers injections per provider orders.
