Job summary

Horizon Retail Construction is seeking a Construction Superintendent (National Traveling) to oversee commercial retail tenant improvement projects across the United States. The role requires traveling to multiple sites and coordinating with project managers at headquarters.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in fast-track construction, reads blueprints, and maintains OSHA knowledge, with strong leadership and communication skills for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial fast-track construction.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Strong understanding of retail tenant improvement.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Understanding of subcontractor responsibilities and onsite tech requirements.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Professional and enthusiastic demeanor.
• Proven track record of running successful projects.
• Proficient with Outlook for communications and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction at the jobsite.
• Serve as the point person on each job site, coordinating with Project Managers at HQ.
• Must travel the United States; 100% travel.
• Direct the activities of subcontractors and client vendors.
