USC Shoah Foundation in Washington, D.C. seeks a Training Manager to build and lead a national antisemitism training practice. You will design trainings, deliver to government agencies, law firms, hospitals, universities, and media outlets, and manage live facilitation across in-person, virtual, and asynchronous formats.

The role demands a calm, confident facilitator able to handle unscripted questions, develop materials, and travel domestically as needed while shaping outcomes and program reach.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing and delivering live training for professional adult audiences such as corporate, government, legal, healthcare, media, or higher ed.
• Demonstrated track record of commanding a room with resistant audiences.
• Ability to improvise through unscripted, high-stakes questions in real time.
• Experience facilitating sensitive or controversial subject matter and handling live pushback.
• Strong instructional design skills and excellent public speaking across in-person and virtual formats.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus but not a substitute for facilitation experience.
• Proficiency with presentation software, learning management systems, and virtual training platforms.
• Ability to travel domestically (approximately 25%).

Responsibilities

• Lead live training sessions in person, virtual, and asynchronous formats for diverse audiences.
• Read the room and adjust tone, pacing, and emphasis in real time.
• Field difficult or politically charged questions without scripted answers.
• Coordinate event logistics with Foundation staff.
• Travel domestically to deliver on-site trainings (≈25%).
• Translate CAL's research into practical trainings and develop facilitator guides and materials.
• Design pre/post assessments and evaluation frameworks with researchers.
• Track reach, audience mix, and satisfaction; support grant reporting.
