National Structures Leader – Bridges & Transportation - US Remote

Are you ready to lead the structural future of transportation infrastructure across the U.S.?

We’re seeking a National Structures Leader to drive technical excellence, client partnerships, and strategic growth across our bridges and transportation practice. This is a high-impact role at the forefront of design and innovation, with the opportunity to shape some of the country’s most critical infrastructure projects.

As National Structures Leader, you will:

  • Lead the Practice: Own and expand the firm’s bridge and transportation structures portfolio across highways, rail/transit, and major civil works.
  • Drive Technical Excellence: Set and oversee design standards, QA/QC protocols, and the adoption of advanced modeling, materials, and delivery methods.
  • Build the Team: Mentor and grow a national team of structural engineers, project managers, and technical experts.
  • Engage Clients: Serve as a trusted advisor to DOTs, transit agencies, contractors, and design-build partners on high-profile and complex projects.
  • Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work hand-in-hand with transportation planning, roadway, and construction services teams to deliver integrated solutions.

The successful candidate will;

  • 15+ years of structural engineering experience focused on bridges, highway structures, and transportation infrastructure
  • PE license required; SE preferred; advanced degree a plus
  • Experience leading major projects (e.g., interstate bridges, rail viaducts, signature spans)
  • Strong client relationships with DOTs, public agencies, and/or design-build contractors
  • Demonstrated success building and leading technical teams across multiple geographies
