The American Heart Association offers an excellent opportunity for a National Senior Program Lead, Risk Factor Control. The position is remote and flexible.

Expected salary ranges from $105,000 to $115,000. Compensation is based on experience, with possible geographic pay differentials. The organization reserves the right to adjust pay accordingly.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, grant-funded position, with current funding through 5/30/2028.

Role Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for cholesterol and genetic health management, including research and market trend analysis.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for cholesterol and Lp(a).
  • Create and monitor performance metrics for portfolio success.
  • Lead cross-organization working groups to coordinate efforts and achieve strategic goals.
  • Represent the organization externally as the key contact for national partners related to cholesterol strategies.
  • Advise senior leadership on resource allocation and project priorities, collaborating with development teams to secure necessary resources.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Patient Education/Engagement, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience, including stakeholder management, process improvement, project planning, and evaluation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in guiding and implementing nationally developed programs in a collaborative environment.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $105,000 - $115,000, based on experience and location. The organization offers a comprehensive rewards package, including:
