Position Purpose
Under minimal supervision, the National Shopper Marketing Manager leads and develops strategic plans to meet the needs of key National Account and E-Commerce customers, focusing on growing the Delicato and Transcendent Wine Portfolios. This role interfaces with various teams within Delicato to exceed business objectives.
Functional Responsibilities

Essential Duties
- Lead and develop the Shopper Marketing team.
- Oversee strategic planning and team meetings.
- Design and implement comprehensive shopper marketing programs.
- Develop programs supporting customer development and sales growth.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on digital initiatives.
- Align with Zone Trade Marketing Managers on key account plans.
- Partner with Marketing Services for cohesive messaging.
- Create customized shopper activation solutions.
- Manage measurement and evaluation of marketing programs.
- Analyze effectiveness and optimize strategies.
- Participate in cross-departmental meetings.
- Develop agendas for customer meetings and gather insights.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- M.B.A. preferred.
- 7+ years experience in marketing and/or sales.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Deep knowledge of marketing strategies, especially in chain, off, and on-premise channels.
- Understanding of the 3-tier system and customer needs.
- Experience managing distributor trade teams.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive skills.
- Proven success in brand building activities.
- Experience with data analysis tools like Nielsen.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Experience managing brands and marketing programs.
- Budget and project management skills.
- Vendor relationship management.
- Knowledge of the wine distribution system.
- Ability to prioritize and work under deadlines.
- Experience sourcing external vendors and agencies.
- Wine industry experience is strongly preferred.

Additional Comments
Management may modify duties as needed. The pay range is $122,251.68 to $191,163.36, based on qualifications and experience.
